In order to help test out his diet and try to figure out what his food allergy is, I started this week off with Blue Wilderness dog food. It’s holistic dog food that is 100% grain free, high in protein and low carb. I purchased the dry duck food, and the canned duck and chicken grill. Reading the ingredients I can identify and pronounce what’s listed, which is a good thing.
The “True Blue Promise” guarantee’s that only natural ingredients are used:
- The first ingredient is real duck
- No chicken or poultry by-product meals
- No corn, wheat or soy
- No artificial preservatives, colors or flavors
Any chance Chocolate might take to a tennis ball?
ReplyDeleteAre those alternate foods purchasable at PetSmart? Dry or wet? How much?
ReplyDeleteI mean, how much do they cost compared to regulare dog food.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what do you treat him with?
Never mind about mydiet questions. My wife tells me it is similar to what we used to feed our Lab. So it's not a problem. (Actually its not a problem either way. I think we are falling in love!
ReplyDeleteHow soon might you be ready to give him up to a forever home? Any chance we could meet? We have been approved by GSPRescue in PA have a large fully fenced yard and have a special affection for GSPs in general and Chocolate in particular.
