Oh My Golly Miss Polly

And then there were two...

Polly

When I first received Polly as a foster I had three dogs all together.  Shortly after Roxie arrived.  Since that time Big Foot has passed and Roxie was adopted.  That leaves Sadie and Polly, my two ladies.  Polly is still up for adoption and waiting for her forever home.

That Crocodile never stood a chance

Silly Polly

She is a short sweet lady that probably has some hound in her.  Just look at those feet!  That brown head screams GSP and those paws are all hound.  She has a heart of gold and is very mellow.  And did I mention her tail, it's not docked.  I've never had a dog with a full tail and I must say, I really like it.  Sometimes when she lays down or sits I can still hear the tail wagging.

I'm waiting...woof

If you or someone you know is looking for a loving, easy going companion Polly just might be your perfect match.  For more information check out http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19084950.

Not only does Roxie have her own Mom and Dad, now she has a brother too!  Roxie's new brother, Dutch, is a 1 and 1/2 year old GSP.  The family is doing well and love their new edition.

What hams, Dutch and Roxie

Yappy Hour

Summer rolls around and Yappy Hour at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park is inevitable.  I have heard about this take on happy hour last year but never made it until now.

We initially went for a walk on the boardwalk but from the picture below you can see why we quickly headed straight to the bar.

We went to the boardwalk during Memorial Day weekend and they just so happen to have Yappy Hour.  We were some lucky dogs :)

Sadie's ready for a cold one

Cooling off

The outside deck features a tiki bar, sandlot for the dogs to play, plenty of seating throughout, and water for the hounds to drink and swim in.  The entire area is gated and there is even a security guard to keep the peace.

I did sit, where's my beer? I'm about 35 in dog years.
